Our Story

Horses have been in my blood for four generations. I discovered exactly that at four years old, and they have been my truest passion ever since. From small town shows to big arena lights, that rhythm of patience, grit, and heart that my ancestors passed down has stuck with me.

My love for coffee, though, didn’t start on a farm. It started in a tiny café tucked into a Soho street in New York City. There was something about that first perfect cup, the ritual of it, the care put into every pour, that stuck with me long after I left the city. I wanted to bring that same feeling into my business: slow, intentional, small-batch coffee made with the same dedication I’ve always given to the horses in my life.

Calico Pony Coffee is where those two worlds meet, the open plains and the corner café, the western spirit and the craft of a well-made cup. Every batch is brewed fresh, in small quantities, with the same care I’d put into training a good horse: no shortcuts, no rushing, just doing it right.

Today you’ll find us at farmers markets, local events, and straight out of our own kitchen, with big dreams of one day rolling up in a full espresso and cold brew trailer.
